American Demigods party!

June 16, 2010

American Demigods, the Chicago theatre company that, earlier this year, brought you the awesome Monks in Trouble plus The Short Stack, is hard at work on the equally spectacular The Irrelevant Adventures of Jarvis McFadden, written by AD’s own Rory Leahy.

But before we present the show, we’re having a party!

Friday, July 9th, 2010
at The Spot (Uptown’s finest eating and drinking establishment) 4437 N. Broadway
Open bar from 8pm to 10pm

The event will be $30 for the general public, but for you guys? only $20. As long as you say the secret password (“IRRELEVANT”) at the door.

What will transpire on this night? You’ll get to see a scene from Jarvis, and the entirely adequate conjuring tricks of the Amazing Rando, the World’s Most Affordable Magician! There will also be a silent auction where you can bid on awesome dinner/theatre packages!

There will also be appetizers, and an unlimited flow of drink for two hours!

All proceeds from this event will go towards our production of Jarvis and to help us continue our mission:

American Demigods is a Chicago based not-for-profit theatre company dedicated to producing original works, and original productions of established works, which embody the qualities of excellence, beauty, and moral vision. We want to tell stories about how to be human, how to be good, and how to be semidivine.

See you there!
